Pellets as fuel

Wood pellets are barkless compressed coniferous wood. Pellets contain a high amount of thermal energy, and emissions are very low. Thanks to clean combustion, the amount of combustion residue is also very small. The high efficiency of wood pellets is influenced by the technical properties of the pellets, such as low moisture content and product uniformity.

Pellets are always dry and uniform, bringing precision to heating. In addition to several good properties, pellets are very easy to store and do not take up much space. They are also easy to transport, making pellets an excellent option if, for example, a cottage is located on an island. Pellets are compressed under high pressure, and thus the wood is in a very dense form. This is why pellets must be burned by gasification to ensure they burn efficiently from start to finish while also producing heat.

Heating with pellets in a fireplace or stove

Traditionally, a fireplace or stove is heated with logs, but a wood-burning fireplace, light fireplace, stove, or sauna heater can also be heated with wood pellets. Pellets burn evenly, ignite quickly, and create a beautiful flame when used with a dedicated pellet burner.

Wood pellets are always dry, uniform, and easy to store. Unlike logs, they do not need to be split or constantly added – a pellet burn gives you time to enjoy the glow of the fireplace or wait peacefully for the sauna heat.
